The Sunday Post #06

Forgive my lack of posting in the past few weeks. I feel like nowadays every single post I write I say sorry. I just really feel guilty for not... posting. I think I've just been lacking inspiration. But this next week I'm going to review Jemma Kidd's Light As Air foundation. Now I know there are a fair amount of these reviews on the blogosphere but I feel like I need to put my opinion out there. Weirdly enough, I don't have the exact same judgement on this product as the other reviews I've read. But i'm going to stop right there and let you read the review when it comes up.

#001 We had our yearbook picture taken this week hence the summer-y outfit in the above picture. 

#002 Uhm, we are going to Barcelona bitches ! Yeah. I can't even explain my excitement. Going to have to contain it for the next 3 months. You can do it Laura ;) 

#003 Just discovered these two new blogs which I think deserve a mention : the first one is The Rockstar Diaries. Oh My Goodness this blog exudes cuteness. Trust me just give it a go and you will fall head over heels for it. The second one is a fellow singaporean's beauty blog : Beauty Fool.

#003 Someone's birthday is coming up ( MAYUMI!). I know she won't read this. She doesn't know my blog url. Yeah, I'm positive. Okay, I'm looking for a Chanel-esque bag. You know those padded sorta bags? Yeah. I need that but cheaper. Anyone know of a cheaper version?

#004 Now it's time for bedtime for me. It's been a busy week-end and I need to sleep.

The Sunday Post #05

One word for this week : stressful. 

It was mocks week full of surprises and I think I peed in my pants more than once. Jokes aside, I don't think I have been as excited as I was for the week-end.

Ok, really weird. Just looked back at all of these pictures and they all have bright orange in it. 

001. Pretty Little Liars ! We are just two weeks away from knowing who A is and I don't think I can contain my excitement. A lot of people think Ezra is A but I don't think it's something the viewers would like? I don't know ! Who do you think is A !? Tell me in the comments below i'm curious to know everyone's opinions.

002. I've been listening to One Direction's One Thing and More Than This on repeat. These guys are OhEmGee so freaking hot. Okay not all of them but ya'know ;) 

003. I diagnosed myself with this certain disease called Trichotillomania. Go google it to find out what it means. But yeah I do it way too much with my hair :s It's bad Laura ! 

004. Last thing which is kind of tmi but whatever this is my blog after all ! I am the kind of person that NEEDS to wash their hair like every single day or it will be greasy. But a week after starting Roaccutane I can now NOT wash my hair everyday. Life-changing much ? I think so. 

There goes another week ! Getting closer to exams........ In 3 months and a half. Holy Moly....

The Sunday Post #04

Before you guys even start saying "OMG! It's been ages since you last did a Sunday Post" (because that's what I would say) I'd like to apologise to not posting regularly on the blog. I know I have no excuses and even if I had excuses you would not want to hear them! 

This last week has been hectic to say the least. I recovered from a week-long stomach bug, which just exhausted me, and had to catch up and all the revisions I wasn't able to do during that time. As I write this I am still freaking out at the idea of having my mocks this week. My heart just starts somersaulting. Ah. School. 

Also, I feel like changing "The Sunday Post" up a little and sharing a few bits and bobs that I discovered during the week and that I want to share with you :) 

001. If you have not listened to Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe' then you probably want to press the PLAY button right about now.


002. I discovered a new blog called The Rockstar Diaries and i'm pretty much in love with it. It's one of the best lifestyle blogs out there in my opinion.

003. Music-wise, I think i'm starting to like this Lana Del Rey girl ! I don't like all her songs but right now Video Games and Born To Die are on replay :)

004. Monki opened their first store in London! I was not able to go there on the opening day (revisions suck!) but I will be stalking this store shortly ;)

005. Astrid introduced me to this brand Vanessa Mooney. Have you heard of her ? Cause I had never heard of her. She basically is a jewellery designer. Her pieces are just stunning and not that expensive!

005. Last but not least, I finally got my MacBook Pro ! Yippee :D

The Sunday Post #03

Hello girlies,

Finally I am on a break ! School is over... for two weeks. I know it's not much but I just needed it.

001. We had a rather relaxing week at school with the teachers going on strike and no tests. Pure bliss. The teachers have given us heaps and heaps of homework to do during the break though! Which is not good news. Ha. 

002. I finalized my Christmas presents on Wednesday. I actually had my own money to spend on people this year and it felt so good. I used to love receiving presents but I think I love giving just as much :) 

003. Christmas dinner at Carla's was amaze balls. Foie Gras and Sushi were involved. I know they don't go together but it was SO yummy. 

004. OMFGSWDIHWID Augustine gave me another Essie Nail Polish for Christmas and Astrid got me nail polishes from Topshop. Yeah, people know me as the nail polish addict. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU girlies. ( I know you'll be reading this Gus :p ) 

005. Got a new Comptoir des Cotonniers coat on Saturday! Will feature it in a post sometime soon :) 

006. It's my sister's birthday today so we went to Tsunami (Japanese restaurant you need to check out) and now we are going to cut her cake. Yum.

On that note, I am going to leave you because it's cutting-the-cake time :) Have a lovely Sunday evening. I think i'm going to watch a bit of telly tonight ! I never do...

Hey girlies,

Instead of a picture this week I have my favorite song of the week. Don't you just love it ?

001. I have been UB-SESSED with Vlogmas videos. I even considered doing it myself but then realized that my days would probably be too boring for you. You want to know what my daily routine is? Easy. Wake-up. Eat. Go to School. Eat. Work. Sleep. 

002. After watching Allthatglitters21, I discovered this new TV Show called Hart Of Dixie. Believe it or not I absolutely adore it. Rachel Bilson is on it as well ! Watching her reminds me of The O.C 

003. If you live in the UK then i'm sure you are following The X Factor Final this week? Yeah well can I just say this year's Final pretty much sucked. As I write this post the winner has yet to be revealed but I predict Little Mix is going to win. And i'm sure everyone think they're going to win ! 

004. We finally put out christmas tree up ! I'm just hoping it's going to snow before christmas !

Alright that's a wrap. I am going back to watching Hart Of Dixie !

The Sunday Post #02

{Herve Leger dresses at Selfridge's. I. Want. One. } 

{Oxford Street this Saturday!} 

001. First of all, I have no idea where this week went ! It just flew away and we are just 3 weeks away from Christmas. And I finally know what I want.... Hehe 

002. I had to prepare dinner on most night's with my mom not being at home. It's been pretty challenging but here I am still standing. ( By the way, I have a new recipe for those lazy night's coming up very soon. 

003. Started of the week-end with some Christmas shopping on Oxford Street with Carla ! Glad they closed down the roads so that people could actually walk freely. 

004. I saw a celeb this week-end. Hell to the yes I did. Her name is SOPHIA GRACE. If you follow me on twitter then you might have seen the sneaky picture I took! Hehe If you guys have never heard of her well you might want to click here. Uh-mazing girls. We saw her with her parents and Rosie in front of this Italian restaurant and they were both in their PINK TUTUS. Attention-seeker much ? 

005. Tennis freak I am, I watched the Davis Cup Final. One word on Rafael Nadal : Genius. He won it and what an ending to this season of Tennis. 

006. Tonight is the Results on X Factor and we are finally going to know who is going through to THE FINALS. I'm for Amelia Lily all the way. So good luck to her.

The Sunday Post #01

Once again, I am starting a new series on the blog which,as the title indicates, will be called the Sunday Post. It will basically be rounding up my week because I feel that I lack personal life posts on the blog... Non ? Without further ado, here is my first Sunday Post. 

001. This week started off with me being sick which was not exactly funny as I had my A Levels Swimming Test. I obviously had to be at the top of my game which is why I freaked out a little. 

002. I purchased my first ever "high-end" foundation which I am absolutely in love with. More on that on a separate post :) You've got to leave a little suspense on here once in a while or it ain't funny! 

003. While sitting at Pinkberry in the Selfridge's Food Hall I discovered my first offer from my Top 3 choices for Uni. Holy Crap you should've seen my face I was in disbelief. 

004. To congratulate myself I purchased an Essie nail polish ! You are probably thinking seriously? An Essie Nail Polish!? But I am in love and I have been staring at the bottle ever since I got it. 

These posts may or may not be interesting for you... I like being nosey once in a while and I think these posts are great for that ;) Tell me what you think about these new series on the blog !
