Revlon Red Review + Swatches

As you might have seen in one of my previous posts, I recently purchased my first red lipstick. Today, on this sunny good friday I thought it would be the perfect day to rock this red lippy! 

let me just say, if you want to get a red lipstick you might want to buy a red lipliner ! I would say it is essential. i have yet to go look for one but when i do i'll be sure to tell you about it (if it's good)! 

this is my first revlon lipstick and it won't be my last ! it is so pigmented. emphasis on the so because trust me it is seriously pigmented. it stays on your lips even after eating or drinking. fab huh ? 

revlon red is the perfect red. it's bright and... red. just look at the pictures! they are true to what the lipstick looks like in real life. 

i'm so glad that i have finally started wearing other lipsticks than my regular nude lipsticks ( mac's politely pink or myth).

what is your favourite bright/daring lipstick ? share ! i want to buy more.

update: this lipstick is friggin amazing you guys. it stayed on even after eating falafels and samboussek jibnes  and a snog the red lips were still intact! crazy awesome. 

Boots Haul !

What do you do when there's a 3 for 2 promotion going on at Boots ? That's a rhetorical question isn't it ? Haha ! I didn't buy anything too extravagant but these are three little gems I am looking forward to using 

Left to right : 

• Rimmel's Peppermint looks like such a gorgeous pastel mint colour I cannot wait to put on my nails (especially on my toes ! it will look great with my fuchsia heels!). I love this range of nail polish from Rimmel because of the brush. It makes application so much easier ! 
• Revlon Red's lipstick is my first red lipstick. I never thought it would be something that would suit me but you know what it's not too bad ! I think you will never know if it suits you unless you try it on. Which is what I did. And look, I bought it ! It has a great staying power even after drinking and eating it was still on my lips. 
• Models Own Beetle Juice is one of those wowza colours ! It does smell really strong though. Spray paint scent. But I can get over that !

I love Boots 3 for 2... They should do it more often !

School FOTD

Hey girlies,

Today I bring to you a Face of The Day. This is what I wear to school because it doesn't take much time and because it doesn't look to heavy. Just what you need when you go to school don't you think ?

Foundation : Jemma Kidd Light As Air Foundation in 03 light/medium ( I look really pale in this picture  I have more of an olive-toned skin ) 

Liquid Eyeliner : L'Oreal Super Liner in Black 

Mascara : MUA Mascara in Shade 5 and Rimmel's Glam'eyes in Brown Black 

Blush : MAC's Pressed Amber (I think this is limited edition! So glad I got my hands on this one. It's amazing!) 

Lipstick : MAC Lustre in Politely Pink

Rimmel's Moisture Renew Lipstick

I have to admit that I never was a fan of lipstick till the day my mom's friend gave me some . Make-up was something I wouldn't even think about until recently when I started reading blogs and  following beauty blogs... All of that somehow encouraged me to try out make-up , so step-by-step I'm trying out new things and this is one of them . Rimmel's Moisture Renew Lipstick is simply amazing . It's basically a lip stick which moisturizes your lips like a lip balm with color !

  I am in love with Orchid Crush . It's a pale pink so it's quite a discreet lip color (which smells pretty good ). But for some reason I feel like pale lipsticks suit me better ... But then that's just me . Definitely a product I am going to buy again and I'll probably be trying new colors in this range of lipstick ( Moisture Renew ) ! 

OH . MY . GOD . Have you guys ever tried fingers by Cadbury ???? If you haven't you  NEED to try them . It is the yummiest stuff I have ever eaten . Okay , not the healthiest but when you buy these small packs ( 120 calories per pack ) , it's not that bad. I know there is a ton of sugar and fat and carbohydrates but if you have to eat chocolate every day ( moi ... ) these miniature packs are perfect. They restrain you from eating chocolate uncontrollably AND they replace those chocolate bars which have a good amount of trans fats :s   

I'm actually going to go and grab one of these mini packs right now ! I'm starving .
