Jemma Kidd Light As Air Foundation

Hi there girlies !

How's everyone doing on this lovely Saturday afternoon !? I'm doing just fine. I was doing my homework and then suddenly thought hey I've not done a review for ages, it's about time I did one on the Jemma Kidd Light As Air Foundation! I've been using this foundation for a good 6 months (I didn't realise I had it for that long!). And even after using it every day for the past 6 months there still is like 1/4 of the product left. Well worth those 28 pounds spent. 

Let's talk packaging. I don't dislike the idea of having liquid foundation in a tube but when the foundation is as liquid-y as this one... not sure it's the best one. As you can see in the pictures above, it gets real dirty with some product going all over the place ! This happens when you travel with it / put it in your make-up bag. If you leave it at home It stays pretty clean...

The product itself is a very light and watery foundation which I like because it doesn't feel like you have a ton of make-up on your skin.If you suffer from acne and you have a lot of blemishes and spots to hide, this is not something for you. This foundation is for someone who has a bit of redness and few imperfections to hide. I've had until recently some bad skin and I just hated this foundation because it didn't do the trick. I've been on Roaccutane for the last 4 weeks therefore my skin has improved a lot. Skin is now baby soft and I don't have all the little imperfections I used to have but I still do have redness. This is what this foundation is good for, hiding redness. If redness is your issue I promise you will love this foundation. It does tend to slide off your face at the end of the day so if that's something that bothers you you might need to invest in a primer as well. 

All in all, this is a good foundation, not an amazing one. After reading all those reviews on the blogosphere I really had high expectations for this product and I have to admit I was really disappointed. But now that my skin has improved i've finally figured out what the foundation is good for : skin with redness. So all you people with problems of redness you might want to run over to your nearest Space.NK that does supply this foundation (I got mine at Harvey Nichols!) and get colour-matched. You'll see how amazing this is. 

By the way, i'm looking for a good tinted moisturiser does anyone know of a good one ? Please leave your recommendations in the comments. It will be much appreciated :)

Today I bring to you a Face of The Day. This is what I wear to school because it doesn't take much time and because it doesn't look to heavy. Just what you need when you go to school don't you think ?

Foundation : Jemma Kidd Light As Air Foundation in 03 light/medium ( I look really pale in this picture  I have more of an olive-toned skin ) 

Liquid Eyeliner : L'Oreal Super Liner in Black 

Mascara : MUA Mascara in Shade 5 and Rimmel's Glam'eyes in Brown Black 

Blush : MAC's Pressed Amber (I think this is limited edition! So glad I got my hands on this one. It's amazing!) 

Lipstick : MAC Lustre in Politely Pink

Hey girls,

Last week I caved and bought two items I am so deeply in love with. Haha ! That actually sounds weird but these right now are my two babies and I don't think I could live without them. I will do individual posts on them as soon as I am ready to review them and talk about them but for now just... admire them.

Yes, I have joined the band wagon and I am now the proud owner of the Jemma Kidd Light as Air Foundation ! I have been using this foundation for a little more than a week and... okay i'm just going to put it out there: I LOVE IT. As I said before, I will be doing a separate review on it so stay tuned for that.

Boy Oh Boy... I splurged on an Essie Nail Polish as well. You may have read it in my Sunday Post but over the week-end I received my first offer from a Uni which I never thought I would get an offer. To celebrate that I went from Selfridge's to Harrods to find the color I wanted! I was looking for the perfect light pink and  I found exactly what I was looking for. Neo Whimsical is the perfect light pink that isn't too light and not too dark either. Like I said, PUR-FECT. 

Do you treat yourself to stuff you don't usually buy whenever you get good news? It's the best way to give yourself a pat on the back ;) 

Make-Up Favorites

Hey guys ! Happy FRIDAY ! I just needed this hectic week to end . I had so many exams which explains my slow-down of posts ! But I'm back and I have so many posts to write I've been really inspired lately ! Anyway , enough of my talking and check out my fave make-up !

 I know . This isn't make-up but I thought I'd just include my three favorite nail polishes right now . They are alll from Barry M . The only thing bad I have to say is about the 216 Silver Cascade . It is horribly hard to remove this nailpolish therefore I only wear it on occasions ... I was actually really disappointed by this because apart from that the glitter is amazing .

These are the two mascaras I use . They are absolutely amazing together because the Sexy Curves gives you a whole lot of volume which is exactly what I need just because I have the most dull eyelashes . Glam'eyes is great for separating your lashes . But Glam'eyes on it's own is pretty damn crappy. This is what it says on the product : " Ultra Volume . high-definition mascara" Uhm , yeah right . If you are looking for a volumizing mascara this is definitely the last mascara you want to buy. Sexy Curves claims are by a mile more accurate : "For fuller curvier lashes " ! ( The two mascaras are from RIMMEL.)

 This product has been having a whole lot of good reviews and people saying it is the best highlighter. For those of you who don't know this is the Touche Eclat by YSL. I put this on whenever my eyes look really tired and to be honest it totally lightens my face up and covers perfectly my dark circles ! So if you have any bad dark circles you probably want to get this product .

 Although this lip gloss is form H&M it is by far my favorite tint of gloss I have ever tried . I've been trying to look for something like this in other brands but I don't seem to find anything ! It's just this nude-pinky kinda lip gloss and for some reason it suits me really well !

 This is the l'Oreal Contour Kohl in Jet Black. I do wear this eyeliner from time to time but because it easily gets smudged it kind of annoys me . Plus , I don't have a whole lot of time in the morning to put on make-up before going to school!

 I wear this gloss on a daily basis. Sadly , the number and name of this lip gloss has faded ! BOO

  I wear this one from time to time but it's a pretty neon-y color so it really depends on my outfit and my mood ! LOL

Last but not least , my foundation . This is a pretty cheap foundation that I got probably a year ago when I still wasn't wearing foundation often and I just wanted to try it out. So I didn't want to invest too much in it and it's actually really good ! It's oil free , talc free and fragrance free but most importantly ? It doesn't give me break-outs and it lasts for a LONG time ! I actually just went to check out reviews on this product and I have only read good things about it ! DEFINITELY a cheap but good foundation .

I'm actually having my dinner right now and it's 11pm . ! On the menu ? Pasta and a slice of meat with carrots and green tea cake ! haha I'll probably do a post on that !
