Make Up Academy Mascara Review

This Saturday ,after much excitement, I went to my local Superdrug and bought the Make Up Academy Mascara ! I had tweeted MUA beforehand to know what their bestseller was and that's when their mascara was mentioned to me .

For some reason , I have never tried a mascara with an actual brush ! I have always bought the sort of plastic-y brushes so this was my first and I was surprisingly pleased. When I saw the price of this ( £1 ) I was proper shocked !

This mascara gives you a good amount of volume and curls them nicely ( everything a girl wants from a mascara especially if you have dull lashes! ) , the only thing about it though is that it doesn't really give any color to your lashes... So , what I do is I add a second coat of it with Rimmel's Glam'eyes which is perfect to lengthen your lashes and give that extra color to your lashes as well.

Overall , I am really happy with this product. I mean come on you guys , £1 for a mascara that gives you that extra volume to your lashes ? I love. .

Christian Dior 2012 Resort Collection.

With Galliano officially fired from the fashion house , Dior has to deal with not having a Creative Director at the helm . Although their new collection doesn't have that "vintage drama " that Galliano used to bring , I still am very much in love with this collection !

I love the mixture of bright colors with nude , black and white with metallic , all-white outfits and bright color patterned outfits . Did I mention the UH-mazing jewelry ? Oh , and the bright lips on each and ever one of these looks. I love. These are only a few of the outfits from the collection ! I hope you liked my selection :)

Five Things

I feel like this week has gone by too quickly ! Last night marked the end of Wimbledon , sadly , and also the end of Nadal's spot as World Number One . Although this week went by real fast I did manage to enjoy a few things ...

{ I ate a good amount of cherries this week. They all came from countryside farms ! }

{ I've been trying to finish this book forever ( and i'm still not done ! ). If you haven't read any books from Malcolm Gladwell do check them out. }

{ Guiltily enjoyed a Cornetto during these scorching London days. }

{ Watched a lot of tennis - mainly Nadal matches . }

{ Seeing Djokovic win against Nadal was unexpected. I still haven't taken it in. }

I promise this will be the last post with me talking about tennis as I have been talking too much about it and it probably annoys a lot of people !

Asos Summer Sale

Hey guys !

What a horrible day for all the Rafa fans ... He should've won , just saying ! For those of you who don't follow tennis stuff , today was the Wimbledon Final and it was Djokovic vs Nadal and unfortunately Djokovic won. This evening we went out for dinner at Wimbledon Village and passed in front of the Centre Court where Djokovic was doing interviews and signing all sort of things for his fans ...

Tennis aside , right after watching this deceiving match I went on Asos.com to check out what they had in their summer sale ! I found quite a few things and I'm thinking about whether I should buy these items...

This dress is on sale at £12 ! That is super cheap. I imagine this with a belt and I feel like it's the perfect outfit for those summery nighs. You can find the dress here. It also exists in black but I figured white is a little more appropriate if you want to wear this during summer !

I was thinking the other day that I don't have a simple denim short ! I only have white shorts , polka dot navy shorts but no denim ! This Mango short is going for £14 ! How cheap is that ? I mean seriously. If you're interested in buying these pair of shorts , you can find it here !

I love this coral flare skirt ! It's so simple yet so chic :) Okay , every time I set my eyes on this skirt I fall in love over and over again . I should definitely buy it . Plus , it's £21 ! It's not super cheap but I think it's an ok price for a skirt. If you are interested in this skirt click here.

I still have not purchased a bikini for this summer ! I usually go for floral sort of bikinis but this summer I feel like getting s bright color two-piece ! I kind of like this one ... check it out here ! It is going for £10.

I WANT this bottom but I tried looking for the top and there is no top ! Ah this is so frustrating . For any of you who already have a top to go with this , you can find the bottom here. It's only £5 !

I thought these leggings were interesting ... There are 4 different colors : Black , Beige , Woodrose and Navy ! Not sure which one I would rather get though they are all really cool colors ! If you like these leggings check them out here.
