FOTD : Cat Eye

A little Face Of The Day for y'all ! I try not to put too much make-up on a daily basis but I do like to try and make it look a little sophisticated sometimes. I have been practicing and practicing to get the perfect cat-eye ever since i purchased L'Oreal Super Liner Liquid Eye Liner and i am finally happy with what i have been able to do. A Cat-eye is by far my go-to make-up on a daily basis. If you are looking for a liquid eyeliner i would recommend l'oreal's ! They are the only ones i have tried and they are amazing! It stays on FOREVER and it is super pigmented. I might try out other brands but for now i am really happy with the one i have.

What I Love Tuesdays

I'm thinking of doing a few weekly posts just to give a bit more of a rhythm to my blog which has kind of been on the down side recently. All that because of school and the fact that i'm in the midst of applying for universities so i've been working hard to make my personal statement amazing. So the idea of this weekly post is to share something you have been appreciating for the past week.

This week-end I spent most of my time in bed because of sickness and Castle has been my best friend. You probably have never heard of it ( if you have i would be surprised). If I had to compare it to any other TV show I would compare it to Bones because the two main characters have the same chemistry and I don't know it just really reminds me of Bones. The difference with this show is that Castle, a famous writer, joins Beckett's team to solve murders and he inspires himself from reality. I think it's a really good show and I'm watching it all on Youtube ! Awesome huh ?

Kelly Cutrone

You guys. I am over excited. Like seriously today I went to Kelly Cutrone's Book Signing at Piccadilly's Waterstone's and she was awesome ( as usual ). This was actually the second time I went to visit her but this time I brought a friend along cause she was another big fan of hers. Kelly started off talking about what was on her mind and then people started asking questions and we finished off with picture taking and book signings and talking one on one with her. She is THE MOST inspiring person on earth and I can only find kind words to say about her. If you have the possibility of purchasing her books ( If you cry go outside and other things your mother never told you, Normal gets you Nowhere) then go, do it now. I'm serious it's just so worth it, almost life-changing! 

So yeah this was a really random and short post but I wanted to share some love .

Fitness First !

Before I even say hi or how are you I think today's post should start off with SORRY. I know this is probably the 5151651 post starting off with a sorry but I genuinely am. This week has really been hectic and I promise to  get back on track and post every other day. Anyway, enough talking here and let me get straight to the point.

I have recently joined Fitness First and I thought I would talk to you about my story! I am not the sort of person who would head to the gym or go for a run! I hated the gym and the only thing I would do was play Tennis. Therefore, this has officially changed and I am now an avid gym-goer! All this thanks to my friend, Christelle ,who pushed me to come workout with her and I am so glad she did.

Fitness First ( and Christelle hahah ) has literally changed my life. Ever since I signed up and it has pushed me to workout more often and obviously tone up my whole body!  When you join the club you get this :

It has got three booklets one for you to write down your progress, the second one has some exercise tips and the last one is like a mini healthy cook book with all the stuff you should be eating.

My whole point is that all the people out there who think they don't like going to the gym or working out should consider it ! Grab a friend and try it out ! I swear it works. We just go to the gym together and talk talk talk talk away ! I even went Friday night I mean how crazy is that!? So go ahead ! Go to the closest gym to you and join it and work it girls.

Elegant Touch Classic French UV Gel Coat Infinity Review

 Hi all ! 

I am so very sorry for being absent this long but it really wasn't my choice ! I just had major problems with internet ( and it's still working on and off so i hope this post actually goes up ) and then school started so i've had to get back in the rhythm of things but here i am with a review ! 

Over the summer I was able to try out a number of products and the most recent one is the Classic French nails by Elegant Touch which i got from the iFabbo event back in July. I am not at all the type of person who would spend their money on fake nails but it was just one of those days where i felt like playing around with products and i picked this. Here are a few pictures to show you how they actually looked on : 

Before sharing my thoughts with you i thought i'd do a little round up of what this product actually is and what are the claims of it. 

What is it ? Elegant Touch Classic French UV Gel Coat Infinity. It is a box containing 24 nails in 10 different sizes and it comes with a glue.

Claims: Our best ever non-chip covered nails.UV Gel Coat Infinity is our best ever nail, new technology uses a UV and gel top coating to ensure the nail will not chip, the top coat won't scratch and the nails stay bright and strong for the entire wear. Glue on nails are fantastic if you want beautiful results for up to 10 days. 

I want to start off by saying that these are incredibly easy to put on your nails there's a great range of sizes which makes it easy if you have really big nails or even really small nails. Anyway, once they were on i started doing a whole lot of things and maybe like an hour later my thumb nail came off so i had to re-glue it... Then the next day as i was putting fresh sheets on my bed another nail fell and this time it was impossible to re-glue it! And as the days went by more nails started coming off which i thought was pretty disappointing because i'm pretty sure that after 2 days i had 4 nails that had fallen off. And i wasn't even doing too many dishes during that time so how they came off i have no idea. I have to say their claims were pretty wrong... Cause after 3 days i had to remove all of the nails because i mean who walks around with just a few nails on their hand. It looked ridiculous. The other annoying thing about them ? They were almost impossible to remove. First of all, in the instructions they actually ask you to buy one of their products to remove but i was definitely not going to buy a product just to remove the nails so i soaked my nails in acetone polish remover and it worked pretty well. Also, something i didn't mention before is the patchiness that appears on your nails after putting them on. You probably can see it on the pictures above so yeah that wasn't great either. 

The only thing that was positive about these nails are that they didn't chip and that was after all one of their major objectives for this product so i guess they accomplished that but they might want to start thinking about creating a nail with a stronger glue to make them last longer!
