The End

Sadly this is the end of Laura's Bible. I really did enjoy creating this blog which was my first creative outlet on the blogosphere but I feel like it doesn't translate who I really am. Therefore, I have created a new blog with a new name ! It'll be a Lifestyle, Food And Fashion Blog. It'll be an exciting one I'll tell ya ;)

Starting on the 20th of June I will be updating the blog every other day. Why 20th of June? It's the day I'll  finish my exams. So bring on 20th of June, a day full of excitement in my life !

Here's the link to the blog : http://cookiesandgiueseppes.blogspot.co.uk/

If you want to follow my journey out in the blogosphere then go ahead and click the link above! I promise it won't be boring and the updates will be REGULAR (that's a promise.).

Thank you to everyone who has been following this blog up to this date and I'll see you on the other side maybe ? ;)

Where To Eat In London ? The Riding House Cafe

The morning after prom, we had to wake up early and go vote for our future president. After a little 'jog' to the polling station and after having voted, my very schexay friends and I went for brunch at The Riding House Cafe.

The food just melts in your mouth. We all took the pancakes except for M. who got salmon and scrambled eggs on toast I believe which was just as good. I seriously don't think I've eaten pancakes as good as these ones. I also took the bircher muesli which was scrumptious. Love the pumpkin seeds and strawberries on top of the muesli. Somehow it makes it that much yummier.
They serve their smoothies and juices in this awesome possum milk bottle and you just look really cool drinking in it. BTW, they have some really interesting mixes in their menu which I did want to try out but ya'know the muesli+pancakes+latte+juice would have been a bit much.

Overall, if I had friends visiting London I would definitely bring them here for a brunch or even for lunch. This place is just that swagelicious.

Go there. Try it out. You won't be disappointed! Trust me.

2-Minute Chocolate And Salted Caramel Cake

I'm addicted to Pinterest (follow me! my username is Laurac15) and one of my favourite things to repin is food (surprising much?). This week I came across this rather interesting food picture. The description read 2-minute Chocolate And Salted Caramel Cake. 2 minutes for a chocolate cake ? Hell, I had to try it out.

You know how recipes always say 'quick & easy' or it only takes '15mins' to make but really it takes like half an hour. Yeah well this recipe will take you 5 mins. 5 mins not even exaggerating. All that is needed to do is mix the ingredients in a small bowl, and all the measurements are in tablespoons so you don't have to bring out the weighing scale and stuff.

Once that's done pour it in a mug. Pop it in the microwave for 1.30 mins and done.

I was amazed at how quick this cooked. You can find the recipe here !

The only part I really like about this cake is the top because of the melted salted caramel or chocolate. The rest of it not too big of a fan. A little to dry for my liking. But it's worth trying! Plus, if you struggle with baking this is the easiest and I mean it. The easiest thing to make.
